1、 “cost” means all expenditure properly incurred or to be incurred, whether on or off the Site, including overhead and other charges properly allocable thereto but does not include any allowance for profit.

“费用”指在现场或现场以外已发生的或将要发生的所有正当支出，包括管理费及应合理分支的其它费用，但不包括任何允许的利润。

2、“day” means calendar day.

“日”指历法日。

3、 “foreign currency” means a currency of a country other than that in which the Works are to be located.

“外币”指工程所在国之外的任一国家的货币。

4、“writing” means any hand-written, type-written, or printed communication, including telex, cable and facsimile transmission.

“书面信息”指任何手写、打字或印刷的通讯函件，包括电传、电报和传真。

5、The headings and marginal notes in these Conditions shall not be deemed part thereof or be taken into consideration in the interpretation or construction thereof or of the Contract.

本条款中的标题和旁注不应视为合同本文的一部分，在对合同条款或合同本身的解释或构词中也不应考虑这些标题和旁注。

6、Words importing persons or parties shall include firms and corporations and any organisation having legal capacity.

凡指当事人或当事方的词，应包括公司、企业及具备法人资格的任何组织。

7、Words importing the singular only also include the plural and vice versa where the context requires.

仅表明单数形式的词也包括复数含义，视上下文而定，反之亦然。
