Course Description:
The course of Electromagnetic Fields is a basic lesson rich in theories in electric engineering. This course will introduce the basic theory, principles, phenomena, analysis, methods of simulating and skills for experiment of the electromagnetic fields. The main contents are as follows: the electrostatic fields; the electric current fields; the magnetostatic fields; the time-varying fields; the quasi-static fields; the method of images and the finite-difference method; the definition and calculation method of circuit parameters; the energy transformation of the electromagnetic fields; the uniform plane wave; the typical electromagnetic problems in electric engineering. The major purposes of this course are at least two. The first aim is to present the basic subject matter as a coherent whole, with emphasis on the unity of electric and magnetic phenomena, both in their physical basis and in the mode of mathematical description. The second aim is to help students initially master the basic knowledge of electromagnetic filed and use the knowledge to solve problems in electro-magnetic engineering.

Course Description:
With the purpose of providing basic concepts and basic tests to the students, the fundamental knowledge of EMC and measurements are introduced to accommodate technology requirements in electric engineering field. The main contents include EMC technique development, national and international standard of EMC, the cause and damage of EMI and methods to suppress EMI such as filtering, shielding and electric grounding. The methods to design the passive filter and active filter are introduced in details, considering topology and parameters. At last, the EMC experiments including conducted EMI, conducted immunity, and radiated immunity are introduced, which are using the equipments: LISN, EMC receiver, antenna and TRA2000.
